Morar & Knoydart
These areas must surely count among the most beautiful in Britain! Morar is reached by the Road to the Isles from Fort William, past Glenfinnan at the head of Loch Shiel to Arisaig where there are breathtaking beaches and fabulous views to the isles of Rum, Eigg and Muck. Just across the water from Mallaig is Knoydart, accessible only by ferry from Mallaig or by a two day walk in from Kinloch Hourn.

Lots to See and Do

There are legendary silver sands of Morar and the golf course at Traigh (one of the most scenic in the country), before the road ends at Mallaig, where the ferry leaves for Skye.
The Knoydart peninsula is sandwiched between Loch Nevis, the 'Loch of Heaven' and Loch Hourn, 'The Loch of Hell', it is one of Britain's last wildernesses, a paradise for walkers, climbers (with several Munros) and those who really do want to get away from it all!
