Glen Affric

Glen Affric is one of the most peaceful and beautiful of the Scottish glens and is much loved by calendar photographers. It lies to the south west of Inverness, accessed by a single, dead end road. Tracks lead along both its banks, so it is ideal for walking or mountain biking.

The scenery is truly breathtaking, as is the wildlife you may spot there. Keep an eye out especially for the soaring golden eagles who nest in the vicinity!

09-Apr-2025	Tigh Tasgaidh HC6 (overall)	We rented Tigh Tasgaidh in Dornie for 4 nights and couldn’t speak highly enough about our stay. Fabulous house with everything we had hoped for. We took our dogs and the gardens were fully enclosed and safe. The house was luxurious whilst homely and we had a lovely relaxing stay. As for the location, what can I say, absolutely stunning! Gloria the caretaker was very helpful and she and the owners left me a gift for my birthday which was a lovely touch. Fantastic all round and will hopefully stay again some time

We contacted the people on site to let them know of the accident and they were there to put our mind at ease that it was no problem and complimented us on our clean up. We have been to numerous cottages around Scotland and it is always clear to see when there is an absent “Landlord” - this is not the case with this property. You can tell from the minute you arrive that these are onsite guardians of the property and it shows.

07-Apr-2025	Snowdrop Cottage GE8 (overall)	Warm, cosy cottage in a brilliant location - just a few metres from the sea. Beautiful paths and walks from the doorstep. The cottage is very dog friendly, with a completely secure garden. It was beautifully warm throughout the day. We would recommend having a small dishwasher and a very minor request for coasters for hot drink mugs. On arrival, we had some difficulty in locking the front door and Margaret, the property manager came down straight away to show us how the locking system worked. We loved our stay and would definitely go back to Snowdrop Cottage.
